Job Description

  • Lead and monitor all daily finance operations activities, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing of digital financial transactions, settlements, and fund movements.
  • Oversee digital money issuance, refunds, float management, and reconciliation of physical cash versus digital balances across all partner bank and settlement accounts.
  • Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives by enhancing finance processes through accounting systems, ERP platforms, APIs, and workflow automation solutions.
  • Ensure accurate calculation, validation, and settlement of commissions, incentives, and fees related to KYC acquisition, merchant transactions, disbursement, airtime sales, and other financial services.
  • Manage daily revenue realization, transaction settlements, float reporting, and financial controls to ensure accuracy of revenue recognition and cash position.
  • Develop and maintain robust MIS, dashboards, and analytical reports covering revenue trends, float utilization, transaction volumes, profitability, cost performance, and business insights for management decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with Technology, Product, Operations, Commercial, Treasury, and Banking partners to ensure seamless API connectivity, transaction processing, and operational efficiency.
  • Strengthen governance and internal controls by ensuring accurate journal postings, financial reconciliations, fund execution, audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement across Finance Operations.

Academic Qualification

  • Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline from a reputed university.
  • Professional qualification such as CA (Partly/Qualified), ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent will be highly preferred.

Job Experience Required

  • 7–8 years of relevant experience in Finance Operations, Financial Control, Revenue Assurance, Treasury Operations, or Digital Financial Services.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Experience in Banking, Fintech, MFS, PSP, Digital Payments, Telecommunications, or Financial Services industries is highly preferred.

Required Capabilities

  • Strong understanding of digital payments, fintech operations, settlement processes, and financial transaction lifecycle management.
  • Expertise in financial reconciliation, revenue assurance, commission management, and operational risk controls.
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling capability with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to drive process automation and operational excellence through technology-enabled solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across business, technology, banking, and regulatory teams.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, accounting software, business intelligence tools, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced digital financial services environment while managing multiple priorities and strategic initiatives simultaneously.
