Job Title: Head of Group Financial Reporting

Location: Dublin

Salary: DOE but an attractive package including bonus and base in excess of 125k is available

Hybrid: 3-4 days in office

About your new employer

Our client is an established organisation operating across multiple business entities in Ireland and the UK. They are seeking an experienced Head of Group Financial Reporting to join their finance leadership team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong senior finance leader keen to join a growin company.

About your new job

The role has arisen due to internal promotions. As Head of Group Financial Reporting you will own the group financial reporting process, ensuring excellent in financial controls, statutory compliance and financial governance for the expanding group.

  • Preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
  • Leading month-end and year-end close processes
  • Managing group consolidation and intercompany reconciliations
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities across the group
  • Developing and maintaining accounting policies and reporting standards
  • Driving process improvement, automation and reporting efficiencies
  • Leading the annual external audit process from planning through to completion
  • Supporting treasury activities, banking relationships and working capital reporting
  • Assisting with board reporting and providing financial insight to senior leadership
  • Monitoring developments in accounting standards, taxation and regulatory requirements

Is this you?

  • Qualified Accountant (AC/ACCA/ CIMA/ CPA )
  • At least 5+ years experience in a senior financial reporting capacity
  • Strong technical accounting and consolidations experience essential.
  • Experience operating at a senior level with the SLT
