About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Intern to join our team and support biotechnology industry research, competitive intelligence, and business development (BD) initiatives. This role offers exposure to biotech innovation, pipeline analysis, and cross-functional strategic projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Prepare and refine presentation materials (PPT) for internal discussions, external BD/partnering, and project updates. Translate complex scientific and business information into clear, professional slides.
  • Use AI tools (e.g., large language models, research/summarization tools, and presentation generators) to improve research and documentation efficiency, while performing fact-checking, structure refinement, and language editing to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Support investor relations (IR) and business development activities, including background research on potential partners/investors, meeting preparation materials, and drafting meeting notes or summaries.
  • Perform additional analytical and operational support tasks as assigned by the team.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or above; background in life sciences or related fields preferred (Biology, Medicine, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Pharmacology, Computational Biology, Public Health, etc.). Interdisciplinary backgrounds combining science with business/finance are a plus.

Required Skills

  • Strong interest in biotechnology innovation, healthcare industry trends, and BD/investment dynamics. Curiosity and willingness to develop long-term expertise in the biotech and healthcare space.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to independently review literature, organize information, analyze competitors, and extract key insights.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint with strong visual communication and structured storytelling skills. Prior experience in consulting, investment research, or pitch deck creation is a plus.
  • Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude) as productivity enhancers, with the ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs rather than simply reuse them.
  • Strong English reading and writing skills, capable of reviewing scientific papers, corporate materials, and industry reports. Overseas study experience is preferred.
