Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage physical security operations and PCI compliance across Modupay’s Factory in Kenya ensuring consistent security standards, local regulatory adherence and audit readiness
  • Monitor Factory entrance & exit and ensure seamless coverage of perimeter and internal zones.
  • Check visitors’ identity and ensure no movement of secure or prohibited items through reception area.
  • Observation of CCTV monitoring, access control systems and incident response & reporting.
  • Ensure Fire alarm, Magnetic alarms and PIR alarms are operational
  • Implement standardized security protocols adaptable to local legal requirements.
  • Conduct security risk assessments; implement corrective action plans and share best practices.
  • Investigate security incidents (theft, unauthorized access, safety breaches) and prepare reports for MD & Regional Security Manager.
  • Serve as the SPOC for external Qualified Security Assessors for audits covering Kenya Factory.
  • Lead country level PCI compliance activities through gap analysis, evidence collection ensuring alignment with PCI standards.
  • Ensure that all systems, processes and personnel handling cardholder data comply with PCI requirements.
  • Maintain a regular audit readiness calendar.
  • Track and close audit findings within defined SLA and report compliance status to management.
  • Deliver standardized security awareness and PCI training.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law / Police, Certifications such as PCI Professional (PCIP) are highly preferred.
  • Experience in PCI compliance and audit coordination

  • Stakeholder Management
  • Training and awareness delivery
  • Swahili & English (fluent – written and spoken)
  • 8-10 years of experience with at least 2-3 years of direct experience in PCI compliance
  • Payment or fintech environment is a plus.
