Electrical Project Manager – Data Centre Project
Dublin, Ireland | 6-Month Contract
Pentagon Technical Services is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a major hyperscale data centre project based in Dublin, Ireland, on an initial 6-month contract.
We are looking for candidates who are either currently based in Ireland or can easily commute from the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile mission-critical project and work alongside an experienced delivery team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all electrical installation activities on a large-scale data centre project.
- Coordinate electrical subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and client representatives.
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Manage project programmes, progress reporting, and commercial awareness of project performance.
- Drive health & safety compliance and ensure adherence to project procedures and industry standards.
- Review and manage RFIs, technical submittals, commissioning activities, and project close-out documentation.
- Attend and lead project meetings with stakeholders and client teams.
- Support commissioning, energisation, and handover activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager on large-scale construction projects.
- Previous data centre, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or other complex MEP project experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation methodologies, commissioning, and project delivery.
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
Preferred
- Previous hyperscale data centre project experience.
- Experience working with Tier 1 contractors or specialist MEP contractors.
- Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification or trade background with extensive project management experience.
Contract Details
- Location: Dublin, Ireland
- Duration: Initial 6-Month Contract with extensions
- Eligibility: Local Irish candidates or candidates based in the UK willing to travel/relocate for the duration of the project.
