Our client is expanding and is looking for a Candidate Manager with proven recruitment experience in blue-collar, trades, construction, manufacturing, logistics, and ideally mechanical, engineering, and electrical industries.
β¨ Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and onboarding new hires. You will play a key role in building strong talent pipelines and ensuring a positive candidate experience across high-volume and specialist roles.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and role requirements
- Source candidates through databases, social media, networking, and employee referrals
- Recruit across blue-collar, trades, construction, manufacturing, logistics, mechanical, electrical, and engineering roles
- Screen resumes and applications, conduct initial phone screens, and schedule interviews
- Coordinate and participate in interviews, providing feedback and recommendations
- Manage candidate communications to ensure a smooth, professional recruitment process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the ATS
- Grow candidate pipelines in specific locations and job titles
- Tag and categorise candidates and clients accurately
- Perform data entry and database maintenance
- Research client points of contact and update internal systems
- Stay up to date with recruitment trends and best practices
β¨ Qualifications
- Proven experience as a recruiter or in a similar HR/recruitment role
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for blue-collar, trades, construction, manufacturing, or logistics roles
- Experience recruiting within mechanical, electrical, or engineering sectors is highly regarded
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and sourcing strategies
