What We Look For: “Requirements”
• 5+ years of experience in relevant design roles
• B.S in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and communication Engineering, or related Diploma in CAD/BIM Design.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken) – mandatory.
• Working in an onsite model from the company’s office in Egypt.
• AutoCAD (2D/3D) o Revit (BIM modeling, coordination, documentation)
• BIM tools (MTO, clash detection, coordination)
• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Visio or equivalent diagram tool
• Photoshop or visualization tools (optional advantage)
• Experience in one or more of: o Audio Visual systems
o Security systems
o Electrical / ELV systems
o Telecom / IT infrastructure
o MEP
• Understanding of system layouts, installation practices, and integration
Concepts
Technical & Analytical
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to translate technical input into structured drawings and
documents
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and documentation standards
Primary Responsibilities:
Technical Design & Drafting
• Develop accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools
• Prepare:
o Layout drawings
o System schematics
o Single line diagrams (SLD)
o Installation drawings
o As-built drawings
• Support creation of system block diagrams and architecture visuals based
on input from solution architects and engineers
BIM Modeling & Coordination
• Develop and maintain BIM models including:
o Material Take-O2s (MTO)
o Clash detection
o Model coordination
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve
design conflicts
• Support integration of multi-system environments within BIM models
Technical Documentation, Submittals & Compliance Support (Engineering & Bids)
• Provide structured support to Engineering and Bids/Tendering teams in
preparing, organizing, and standardizing all technical documentation,
submittals, and compliance deliverables
• Prepare and organize technical documentation packages, including:
o Material Submittals (MS)
o Technical Data Sheets
o Method Statements (MoS)
o Compliance sheets and matrices
o Supporting technical documentation
• Structure all submissions in a clear, standardized, and professional
format suitable for client-facing deliverables
• Ensure consistency and alignment between:
o Drawings
o BOQs
o Technical documentation
o Compliance responses
• Maintain and apply standard templates for:
o Submittals
o Compliance sheets
o Technical documentation
