Job Title: M&A Associate

Location: New York, NY

Salary: $310,000+ (commensurate with class year and experience)

This is a top-ranked M&A practice with a genuinely global transaction base, advising buyers, sellers, and advisers on complex deals across multiple sectors. From your first day, you will carry real responsibility on live deals, not a supporting role while you wait for seniority.

What You Will Do

• Draft and negotiate acquisition agreements, equity documents, and related transaction documentation
• Run key workstreams across the full deal lifecycle, from due diligence through closing
• Operate as a core member of deal teams, with direct client exposure from the outset
• Advise on the legal, technical, and commercial dimensions of complex M&A and private equity transactions

What You Bring (Must-Haves)

• 4-7 years of M&A associate experience at a recognized law firm
• Hands-on drafting and negotiating experience on complex M&A and private equity transactions
• Experience owning deal workstreams, not just supporting them
• A team-oriented working style
