Role Description The Account Representative role is a full-time hybrid position based in Carmel, IN, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. The individual in this role will manage a portfolio of commercial roofing accounts, acting as a primary point of contact for clients such as building owners, property managers, architects, and contractors. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, preparing quotes and submittals, coordinating roof drawings, and supporting CADD/tapered insulation design requests in collaboration with internal technical teams. The Account Representative will support the sales process by identifying opportunities, following up on leads, presenting product solutions, and assisting with online tools and modeling resources. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate account records in the CRM system, helping coordinate training sessions and presentations, and working closely with colleagues to ensure timely, high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

  • Strong Account Management skills, including managing multiple clients, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining organized records.
  • Customer Service and Communication skills to build relationships, handle inquiries, and clearly explain technical information to a range of stakeholders.
  • Sales skills, including prospecting, follow-up, and supporting the full sales cycle from initial contact through post-sale support.
  • Training and presentation abilities to support educational sessions, product demonstrations, and contractor or client training.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment based in Carmel, IN, with the ability to collaborate effectively both in person and remotely.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office (or similar tools), and willingness to learn company-specific online modeling and design tools.
  • Ability to understand or quickly learn basic roofing and building envelope concepts; prior experience in construction, building materials, or roofing is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
