Content Writer (Junior) - Sydney | Hybrid

About the role

We’re looking to hire an emerging social campaign & content writer with strong fundamentals and a real growth mindset.

This role will be part of our Strategic Communications Team working within a strong team of writers as part of Digivizer’s Agency. This team focuses on writing and creating content that is strategically built for developing great digital storytelling - delivered across executive thought leadership, brand channel social media, digital editorial, websites, creative, video, and PR.

The role will be responsible for the creation of long and short form content to suit a range of social platforms, EDM, and websites. This would fit someone with a journalism, or communications background, or someone who has 1-2 years writing experience and is looking to switch into a stronger digital outcomes and data-driven focused environment. This would be for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, quick to adapt, and excited to build impactful campaigns across social and content channels.

What the Role Entails:

1. Content Creation & Creative Development

• Create unique, engaging, high-quality long- and short-form content for clients (articles & social media posts)
• Develop content ideas and collaborate on new initiatives
• Write, edit, and proofread copy across digital platforms
• Conceptualize supporting creative (social posts, banners, images, etc.)
• Write clear briefs for campaigns and creative assets
• Support executive interviews and interpret content captured to turn into great thought leadership posts

2. Content Planning & Publishing

• Develop content for social media calendars
• Schedule and publish content across platforms
• Ensure all deliverables meet timelines and client expectations

3. Performance Monitoring & Execution

• Monitor engagement and comments, providing optimization recommendations
• Maintain high standards in the execution of social content, digital assets, and campaigns
• Manage tasks effectively to ensure strong planning, coordination, and on-time delivery

What We’re Looking For:

• Journalism, PR, or Communications background a must or ideally has completed Journalism cadetship
• 1-2 years experience writing for B2B digital campaigns/social media or digital media/publishing platforms
• Journalism, Campaign, Article and or Thought Leadership writing experience
• Flexible approach to work, with an agile mindset
• Ready to learn and be challenged
• Passionate about driving results
• Organized, detail-oriented, and exceptional at taking a project from conception to implementation
• Excellent in communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills

Digivizer follows a hybrid work arrangement. You will be working the majority from home and at least 3 days a month from our office in Sydney CBD.

We are a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) company.
