Main Purpose of the Job
To coordinate international logistics flows and ensure timely availability of raw materials to support production. The role focuses on aligning inbound shipments with production and warehouse needs, transport coordination for delivery of finished goods and receipt of inbound shipments, prioritising urgent materials, and supporting documentation compliance and customs clearance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate international shipments (primarily ocean and air) to ensure timely and efficient delivery of raw materials
- Coordinate and manage truck movements for the delivery of finished goods and the receipt of inbound shipments, ensuring timely, efficient, and compliant logistics operations.
- Support preparation and validation of documentation for customs clearance
- Act as operational point of contact for suppliers and customs brokers, as well as for production and warehousing team.
- Prioritize purchase orders and shipments based on production needs, material shortages, and urgency
- Collaborate closely with the Global Logistics Manager, the Production Manager and the Warehouse Manager to align inbound planning with production schedules and storage capacity
- Monitor shipment status and proactively manage delays or risks impacting material availability
- Ensure correct and timely updates of shipment and logistics data in the ERP system
Qualifications & Experience
- 4 - 6 years of experience in logistics, with exposure to import/export operations
- Working knowledge of customs processes and documentation
- Solid understanding of Incoterms and international shipping flows
- Strong experience coordinating inbound and outbound shipments across sea, air, and land freight operations.
- Experience in environments involving inventory, warehouse coordination, or production support

- Strong prioritisation skills, particularly in managing urgent raw material flows
- High attention to detail in documentation and coordination
- Effective stakeholder management across logistics, warehouse, and production teams
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
