We are seeking an experienced and motivated Night Packing Supervisor to join our food manufacturing business in a full-time, permanent capacity. This is a key leadership role focused on guiding and supporting a high-performing packing team within a fast-paced production environment.

About the Role

This position plays a critical role in leading the daily operations of the Packing Department, with a strong focus on people leadership, team development, and operational excellence.

You will support the Packing Manager in coordinating staff, ensuring accurate picking and packing processes, and maintaining smooth and efficient operations across the business.

This role operates in a warehouse environment and requires hands-on involvement as well as strong leadership capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support packing team members in daily operations
  • Ensure accurate product picking, packing, labelling, and stock rotation
  • Assist with rostering and team coordination when required
  • Support inventory control and stock management processes
  • Liaise with logistics and production teams for smooth dispatch operations
  • Maximise productivity and efficiency within the packing department
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and WHS standards
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organised work areas

About You

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing packing operations
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
  • Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety and WHS standards
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Competent with basic systems, rostering, or Microsoft tools (advantageous)
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-focused with strong attention to detail
