Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Service Technician role based in Davis, OK. The Service Technician will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbines, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting faults, completing repairs safely and efficiently, and performing inspections to ensure turbines operate at peak performance. The role involves working at heights and in varying weather conditions, following strict safety and quality procedures, and accurately documenting service activities and parts usage. The Service Technician will also support field service operations by collaborating with team members, communicating clearly with site leadership, and contributing to continuous improvement of service processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong maintenance background, including Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems.
  • Proven Troubleshooting skills in diagnosing technical issues and implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Experience in Field Service environments, ideally working on industrial equipment, renewable energy systems, or similar assets.
  • Customer Service abilities, including clear communication, professionalism on site, and a focus on reliable, high-quality service delivery.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
  • Comfort working at heights and in outdoor conditions, with a strong commitment to safety standards and procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics, and to use standard diagnostic tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to turbine sites as needed; willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or weekends when required.
  • Effective teamwork, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
