About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to refactor the ARDA application by migrating its shared PostgreSQL (PSI DB) instance to a dedicated database environment. This role requires expertise in database optimization, application modernization, and system design to eliminate inefficiencies caused by shared database usage.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, enhance application-level documentation, and conduct technical reviews with the CTO to ensure seamless integration and performance improvements.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Senior Developer to transition toward an Architect role, offering hands-on experience in database refactoring, system design, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Refactor ARDA application to use a dedicated PostgreSQL (PSI DB) instance, eliminating shared database dependencies.
• Optimize database architecture, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Enhance and create application-level documentation for maintainability and future reference.
• Review updated PSI DB integration with the CTO and key stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure smooth data migration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as full stack developer – Java language is plus
• 5+ years of expertise in PostgreSQL database architecture, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Proven experience refactoring applications for dedicated database environments.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, and integration troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with application modernization and system design.
• Documentation and technical review experience (ability to present solutions to leadership).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Nice to Have

• Spanish language proficiency (a plus).
