The Bid Specialist will play a critical role in driving growth by managing the end-to-end bid process—from identifying opportunities to submitting compliant, compelling proposals. This individual will work closely with internal teams to gather information, track progress, and ensure timely, accurate submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and submission of proposals in response to RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitations
- Analyze bid documents to extract key requirements, timelines, and evaluation criteria
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (operations, finance, legal, leadership) to compile proposal content
- Manage multiple bids simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Track bid progress and maintain organized records of submissions, templates, and outcomes
- Identify and evaluate new bid opportunities across procurement platforms and industry sources
- Support continuous improvement through tracking win rates and refining proposal strategies
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in bid or proposal coordination/management
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Experience working with RFPs, procurement portals, and submission platforms
- Strong written communication and technical writing skills
- Ability to interpret technical documents, contracts, and specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/project management tools
- Self-starter with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
