About The Technology Summer Intern Program

As a Technology Intern, you’ll take part in a 10-week program where you’ll gain hands-on experience working on real projects that impact millions of customers.

We’ve got opportunities across areas such as Cybersecurity, Cloud, Data & AI, Technology Operations and Software Engineering, where you’ll experience how technology powers modern banking.

Our Summer Intern Program is a key pathway into ANZ’s Technology Graduate Program. High-performing interns may be considered for a graduate role, helping you kick-start a long-term career in technology at ANZ.

What You Might Work On

• Build and improve digital banking experiences used by millions of customers
• Use data, automation and emerging technologies like AI to solve real-world problems
• Develop modern applications and systems that run in the cloud
• Help improve how systems connect and work together seamlessly
• Support cybersecurity and fraud prevention to help protect customers
• Work with teams to modernise platforms and improve how technology is delivered

You’ll collaborate with engineers, designers and business teams to deliver real outcomes.

About You

We don’t know your name yet, but we do know you’re curious, motivated and ready to learn.

You might be someone who:

• Enjoys solving problems and asking “why”
• Is interested in technology, whether from a technical or non-technical perspective
• Likes working with others and values different ideas and perspectives
• Is open to learning, trying new things and stepping outside your comfort zone
• You might love building software, analysing data, improving processes, or translating technical concepts into simple, user-friendly experiences.

You don’t need to have experience in everything - we’re here to support your learning and growth.
