Summary

Armor is seeking a Senior Product Designer to help shape the user experience for our next generation of security, AI governance, and enterprise AI platform products.

As part of the Build & Create organization, you will work closely with Product Engineering, Product Management, and Architecture teams to transform ideas into validated product experiences. This role goes beyond designing interfaces—you will play a critical role in identifying customer problems, discovering the right solutions, and helping define the products we bring to market.

The ideal candidate is passionate about solving complex problems and is equally comfortable conducting customer discovery, creating low-fidelity concepts, building interactive prototypes, validating assumptions with users, and collaborating closely with engineering teams throughout implementation.

This is a highly hands-on role where curiosity, speed, experimentation, and strong product thinking are just as important as exceptional design execution

This role operates in a hybrid structure with on-site presence four days a week, specifically Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, based in Pune, India.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Additional duties may be assigned as required)

Product Discovery & Validation

• Partner with Product Engineering, Product Management, and Product Owners to identify and evaluate new product opportunities.
• Translate customer challenges into user journeys, workflows, and innovative solution concepts.
• Conduct user interviews, usability studies, and workflow validation sessions to uncover insights and inform design decisions.
• Rapidly prototype concepts to test assumptions and validate ideas before significant engineering investment.
• Apply an iterative, data-informed approach to continuously improve the product experience.

Product Design

Design Intuitive, Scalable Experiences Across Armor's Product Portfolio, Including

• Enterprise cloud platforms
• Security operations workflows
• AI governance solutions
• Agent orchestration and control-plane capabilities

Responsibilities Include

• Creating wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Simplifying technically complex workflows into intuitive user experiences.
• Balancing usability, operational efficiency, and security requirements in enterprise environments.

AI-Native Experience Design

Help define the next generation of AI-powered enterprise experiences by designing solutions for:

• AI copilots and intelligent assistants
• Agent-driven workflows and task automation
• Human-in-the-loop decision-making systems
• AI governance, oversight, and approval processes

You will design experiences that promote trust, transparency, and user confidence in AI-generated recommendations and actions.

Design Systems & Experience Consistency

• Establish and evolve reusable design patterns, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with platform teams to define shared components and scalable design frameworks.
• Ensure consistency across existing products and emerging offerings.
• Advocate for a cohesive end-to-end user experience across Armor's ecosystem.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work Closely With

• Engineering teams
• Product Management
• Architecture teams
• Security subject matter experts (SMEs)
• Customer-facing teams, including Customer Success and Sales Engineering

Additional Responsibilities Include

• Participating in product strategy discussions and roadmap planning.
• Facilitating design workshops and collaborative problem-solving sessions.
• Serving as a champion for customer-centered design across the organization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or UX/UI Design.
• Proven experience designing complex B2B SaaS products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating:
• Product discovery and validation methodologies
• Workflow and systems design
• Enterprise software experiences
• End-to-end product thinking, from concept through delivery
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma and related collaboration tools).
• Experience partnering directly with engineering teams throughout implementation.
• Ability to simplify highly technical concepts into intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing products within cybersecurity, cloud platforms, DevOps, infrastructure, or enterprise technology environments.
• Experience designing AI-enabled products, workflows, or intelligent user experiences.
• Familiarity with concepts related to:
• Agentic AI systems
• Large Language Models (LLMs)
• AI governance frameworks
• Human-AI interaction design principles
• Experience in startup, high-growth, or innovation-focused environments.
• Working knowledge of frontend technologies and implementation considerations.
• Experience conducting customer research and translating insights into product strategy.
