The Role

We are looking for a motivated Data Analyst to join our growing finance team and play a key role in turning data into insights that drive strategic decisions. You will work closely with the Finance and Ecommerce team, supporting the business with accurate, timely, and actionable information.

This is a hands-on, analytical role for someone who enjoys working with numbers, spotting trends, and helping the finance team make sense of complex ecommerce and stock data. You’ll gain exposure to multiple areas of the business, including transactions, cash movements, stock management, and commercial performance, and play a central role in supporting decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the finance team by providing accurate, timely, and actionable data insights.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders and teams to understand their data requirements and build solutions
  • Analyse key finance and operational metrics including cancellations, refunds, and stock discrepancies, identifying trends and anomalies.
  • Analyse stock movements across all sales channels, including ecommerce, retail stores, and warehouses, to provide insight into inventory.
  • Prepare clear and accurate stock reports that enable senior management to make strategic decisions regarding inventory investment and allocation.
  • Work closely with Finance Managers and the Head of Finance to provide the data needed for strategic decision-making.
  • Support ad hoc reporting and commercial analysis to help the business respond quickly to opportunities or issues.
  • Ensure all financial data is clean, accurate, and well-structured to enable reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with other data and finance colleagues, including supporting automation and dashboard initiatives.
  • Continuously improve reporting processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency in data handling.
  • Own the weekly trade data.
  • Help to transition from lots of manual tasks every day, to incorporating AI in to your daily work life.

About You

  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and transactional ecommerce data.
  • Proficient in Excel. Experience with data tools or ERP systems is desirable.
  • Proactive and able to translate numbers into insights that support decision-making.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
  • Ecommerce and Beauty experience is desirable
