Deep hands on experience with MS Fabric workloads: Data Factory (pipelines), Lakehouse, Warehouse, Real time analytics, Semantic models and (where applicable) Data Activator
Strong understanding of OneLake concepts, shortcuts, and Lakehouse Architecture
Strong knowledge of Python and Spark
We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to support a critical data transformation and project decommissioning initiative. The Technical Architect will be responsible for enabling data ingestion, transformation, and delivery of business-consumable data as part of a major project decommissioning effort. This role is critical in ensuring that data extracted from the project application is properly transformed into usable, governed datasets within the enterprise data platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end data ingestion and transformation pipelines for project application data.
- Deliver business-ready data to meet reporting and operational requirements.
- Support the establishment of medallion architecture (Bronze → Silver → Gold layers) within the data platform.
- Ensure data quality, usability, and reporting readiness throughout the data lifecycle.
- Mitigate risks associated with the highest risk area in the program.
- Design and deliver end-to-end data products in Microsoft Fabric using repeatable patterns that support key business flows.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the data transformation initiative.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong experience as a Technical Architect with a focus on data platforms and architecture.
- Deep expertise in data ingestion, transformation, and medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power Platform.
- Proven ability to design scalable, repeatable data solutions.
- Strong understanding of data governance, quality, and reporting requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and risk mitigation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
