Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Mandalay. The Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and monitoring progress against objectives and timelines. This role will coordinate daily with internal teams, partners, and other stakeholders to ensure tasks are clearly assigned, risks are identified early, and issues are resolved promptly. The Project Manager will prepare regular reports, maintain project documentation, and ensure compliance with organizational standards and donor or partner requirements. The role also includes leading project meetings, supporting team performance, and contributing to process improvements for future projects.

Qualifications

  • Strong project planning, scheduling, and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, including communication with partners, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Competence in budget tracking, basic financial oversight, and resource allocation.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English; additional local language skills are an advantage.
  • Ability to prepare clear reports, maintain accurate documentation, and use common office and project management software.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making abilities in a project environment.
  • Leadership and team coordination experience, with a collaborative and inclusive approach.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Previous experience managing projects in Myanmar or a similar context is preferred.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Mandalay and occasionally travel to project locations if required.
