We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Trainee Helpdesk Support professional to join their growing remote IT team.

As a Trainee Helpdesk Support team member, you will provide first-line technical assistance to users, helping to resolve IT issues and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line IT support to customers and colleagues.
  • Respond to technical queries via phone, email, and online ticketing systems.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and account-related issues.
  • Log, track, and update support tickets accurately.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior technical teams when required.
  • Assist with user account management and password resets.
  • Maintain accurate support documentation and records.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service.

Skills & Experience

  • Interest in IT, technology, and technical support.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Comfortable using computers and online systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, administration, or IT experience is beneficial.
  • No commercial IT experience required – full training provided.
