Account Manager
We're currently looking for a customer support focused Account Manager to help us grow. This is a fully remote role, but it will require travel to Baltimore MD for training in the beginning of the role as well as continued trips to continue to learn our products.
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing and expanding an assigned portfolio of bulk vending operators, bowling alleys, dentist offices, arcades/fun zones, and small business accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate thrives in both reactive customer support and proactive sales development, someone who can nurture existing partnerships while hunting for new ones.
You'll serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts, driving sales performance, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering solutions that help our customers succeed. This position requires strong communication skills, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Account Management & Growth
- Own and manage an assigned book of vending operator and small business accounts, driving sales performance and customer retention
- Build strong relationships with operators and business owners to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Conduct regular account reviews to identify opportunities for expanded product offerings and increased order volume
- Monitor buying patterns and recommend new items, promotions, and product lines to grow account revenue
New Business Development
- Proactively identify and pursue new customer opportunities through outreach, networking, and lead generation
- Convert prospects into long-term customers by presenting compelling product solutions and demonstrating value
- Develop territory plans and strategies to expand market presence within the vending industry
Customer Support & Communication
- Respond to customer inquiries, orders, and concerns promptly with a focus on resolution and satisfaction
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing, delivery timelines, and issue resolution
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally, sharing feedback with Product Development, Marketing, and Operations
Sales Operations
- Track and report on key performance metrics, sales goals, and account activity
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and order management systems
- Participate in product training to stay current on new releases and industry trends
- Support tradeshow preparation and attend industry events as needed
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in account management, inside sales, or business development
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Experience in bulk vending, amusement, toys, novelty, or candy industries preferred
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
- Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and customer-first approach
- Bachelor's degree preferred

Compensation & Benefits
- $55,000 Base + Reactive Commission + Proactive Commission. Reactive commission means you earn commission for simply taking an order from an existing client you didn't source. Proactive commission is a relationship that you sourced yourself and closed the sale.
