Remote US | East Coast preferred

Comp: $130,000 - $150,000 base + 20% bonus

Trident Search are working exclusively with a Series A cyber vendor that's looking to hire a Mid-Snr Customer Success Manager. You will own mid-market and enterprise customers across onboarding, adoption, renewals and expansion support.

This is not a “maintain the book” CSM role. They need someone who can operate in a fast-moving startup, build process while executing, and become a trusted advisor to security teams.

What they’re looking for:

  • 3–5+ years in Customer Success
  • Cybersecurity vendor-side experience strongly preferred
  • Experience managing mid-market / enterprise customers
  • Comfortable owning around 20–25 accounts
  • Strong customer lifecycle experience: onboarding, training, adoption, renewal support and expansion identification
  • Able to speak credibly with security leaders and practitioners
  • Strong understanding of how security teams operate: SOC, threat hunting, detection engineering, vulnerability management, security operations
  • Familiarity with tools/categories such as CrowdStrike, SIEM, EDR/XDR, MDR, threat intelligence, MITRE ATT&CK or similar
  • Able to run deeper product conversations and demos, not just high-level relationship calls
  • Strong value realisation mindset: helping customers understand outcomes, adoption and risk reduction
  • Comfortable working without a fully built playbook
  • Startup or scale-up experience preferred

This would suit a cyber CSM who wants more ownership, more influence, and the chance to help shape what Customer Success looks like as the company scales.
