Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cook at the Woman's Athletic Club of Chicago, located in the Greater Chicago Area. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals in accordance with established recipes, food safety standards, and quality expectations. Additional tasks include maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, working collaboratively with the culinary team, and assisting in menu planning and inventory management. The role supports the Club's commitment to exceptional dining experiences for its members.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in preparing and cooking various cuisines, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation standards, and kitchen equipment operation
  • Ability to collaborate with a team, contribute to menu planning, and adapt to dynamic service requirements
  • Detail-oriented approach to time management, organization, and inventory control
  • Previous experience as a cook in a professional kitchen setting
  • Effective communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude
  • Culinary training or certification is a plus
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
