Description

We are seeking a proactive, commercial and detail-oriented Insurance Account Manager / Sales Support professional to join our existing team based in Switzerland. In this role, the candidate will act as a key point of contact for brokers and clients, providing exceptional service, and proactive sales support to maximise new business opportunities and retention.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining and strengthening broker relationships, corporate clients, working closely with the existing team in Swiss and France to ensure smooth client onboarding, sales pipeline management, and upholding strong client retention to achieve company growth targets

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Broker Relationship Management

  • Serve as a key point of contact for brokers and intermediaries, responding promptly to inquiries and requests.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with brokers to foster trust, loyalty, and repeat business.
  • Support brokers with product guidance.

Commercial Support

  • Track and follow up on quotations and renewals to boost conversion/retention success with broker pending opportunities.
  • Assist in the pre-sale process, including eligibility checks, product comparisons, and pricing coordination with underwriting.
  • Prepare SME quotations and proposals for new and renewing international medical insurance accounts.
  • Support colleagues by representing the company at industry events and broker meetings.

Account Management

  • Support the management of policies from inception through renewal and cancellation.
  • Coordinate with underwriting, claims, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of broker activities, communications, and client data in CRM systems.

Operational Support

  • Contribute to process improvements and best practice initiatives.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in insurance account management and sales support— ideally within international health or medical insurance.
  • Strong understanding of broker distribution and intermediary sales models.
  • Must be FINMA certified as an independent insurance broker
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail with strong administrative and organizational ability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, collaborative, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Capability of working with different cultures, in particular reporting in France and APAC offices
  • Fluent in French, English and German is a plus.
