Scope of duties:

The Sales & Service Executive is responsible for growing the CEE Cluster sales volumes and profitability by selling and implementing value adding ink solutions to the Narrow Web printing houses in the designated CEE markets.

  • Manage and drive the profitable growth of sales pipeline and existing accounts within the designated area of responsibility
  • Continuously optimize growth and customer profitability by applying the FG EU sales tools, processes and techniques
  • Support the Cluster Sales Team and International Key Account Team in selling ink solutions and services to existing and new customers
  • Actively support development, promote, sell and implement new products/services/concepts
  • Work with the sales and technical team, ensuring the products and services proposed meet the needs and demands of the customer base
  • Organize and execute relevant product and service training to the customers and FG staff
  • Organize and support product trials and deliver technical support when necessary
  • Handle claims and complaints from customers
  • Assume account management responsibilities for agreed accounts
  • Draw up and execute account plans in close collaboration with the Cluster Sales Team
  • Support the Cluster Commercial Director with preparation of the sales budget and deliver accordingly
  • Negotiate new customer contracts in line with FG EU guidelines and in close collaboration with the Cluster Commercial Director
  • Generate customer contracts in respective tool, like Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) with support from legal department
  • Support administration of sales contracts in CLM
  • Utilize and continuously update existing CRM and relevant sales tools (C4C, PriceFX, QlikView) to register and report on customer visits, sales process and report on generated value
  • Working with the Cluster Commercial Director and supply chain to ensure working capital targets are met
  • Reviewing, capturing and updating upon customer forecasting and demand
  • Monitor, report and address on competitor activities and products in the market
  • Continuously warrant and validate sales data accuracy. Conduct systematic data checks and validate that the commercial terms agreed with customers are reflected correctly in SAP (prices, rebates, surcharges, accruals, payment terms, etc.)
  • Develop and deliver ad hoc sales reporting based on requests from the Cluster/Regional sales leads
  • Coordinate and manage calculation and validation of customer rebates for relevant accounts (on a quarterly or annual basis). This includes internal approval process and rebate pay out processes
  • Coordinate and manage customer bonus accrual and release process. This includes cross checking and validation of customer commercial conditions in SAP
  • Coordinate and support Cluster/Regional RFCC processes using PriceFX. Capturing and consolidating required data and loading this into PriceFX/RFCC with support from back office
  • Maintain customer master data in cooperation with Cluster/Regional sales teams
  • Provide assistance and create customer sales presentations
  • Manage customer correspondence, customer visits, offers etc.

What we want:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a commercial, technical sales, or technical support role within the printing and packaging industry
  • Experience working with printing inks, coatings, varnishes, adhesives, or related products would be a strong advantage
  • Good understanding of flexographic, offset, digital, or label printing processes
  • Knowledge of the Romanian printing and packaging market; familiarity with customers in Romania, Bulgaria, and Moldova is preferred
  • Fluent Romanian and good English communication skills (spoken and written) are mandatory
  • Additional Bulgarian and/or Russian language skills would be considered an advantage
  • Strong commercial awareness combined with technical understanding
  • Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and develop business opportunities
  • High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently in a home-office environment
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70–80% of working time) across Romania, Bulgaria, and Moldova
  • Valid Category B driving license and confidence in frequent long-distance driving
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems
  • Ability to work effectively within an international organization and collaborate with cross-functional teams
