Role Description This full-time, on-site Ductless Technical Specialist role is based in Florida, United States. The specialist provides technical support for ductless HVAC systems, including diagnosing issues, performing troubleshooting, and assisting field technicians and customers with system performance concerns. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting installation and commissioning, reviewing system configurations, and recommending corrective actions to ensure optimal operation. The role involves collaborating with sales, service, and engineering teams, providing product training, and documenting common issues and solutions. The specialist also communicates directly with customers and partners to deliver clear guidance, maintain high service standards, and support continuous improvement of Trane’s ductless product offerings.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills to interpret system data, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support for ductless or similar HVAC systems, including diagnostics and resolving performance issues.
  • Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to explain technical information clearly and support internal and external stakeholders.
  • Relevant HVAC technical training, certification, or equivalent field experience; familiarity with ductless mini-split and VRF systems is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
  • Comfort working on-site and in the field, including occasional travel within Florida as needed.
  • Basic proficiency with digital tools (e.g., service software, remote diagnostic tools, and standard office applications).
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning in a fast-paced technical environment.
