Auckland Council’s Community Wellbeing Specialist Advisors work with diverse communities to understand their aspirations and support them in bringing their ideas to life. We focus on community-led development and building community capability, aligned with the Auckland Plan and Thriving Communities action plan. Our Specialist Advisors build strong relationships within the communities they are working with, can act as trusted partners and be accountable to deliver great results
We have a permanent opportunity in the Central and East portfolio, based in Central Auckland and servicing Puketāpapa with requirements to travel around the communities you will be working with. This dynamic role offers diverse and exciting opportunities to make a difference to Auckland communities.

Joining the Community Programme Delivery team (Central and East) would enable you to utilise your considerable experience in community development to create and deliver innovative projects with our diverse Auckland Communities.

You have a full NZ driver’s licence or can travel independently. You can also self-manage a working week to include attending occasional community events outside of traditional working hours.

This role is a band H, we are expecting to appoint the successful applicant at a salary of between$100,000- $120,000 per annum, depending upon experience.
