Sales Director OR Senior Manager/Manager - Personal Care CDMO - Remote - United States

I'm partnered with a fast-growing, innovative personal care contract manufacturer looking to appoint a Sales Director with a true hunter mindset.

This is a high-impact role focused on winning new business, opening doors with global and indie beauty brands, and driving revenue growth across skincare, haircare, and cosmetics categories.

The Role:

  • Identify, target, and win new business across personal care and beauty
  • Build and execute a robust commercial strategy focused on new client acquisition
  • Develop relationships with: Indie and challenger brands; Established beauty players
  • Lead the full sales cycle: Prospecting → pitching → negotiation → contract close
  • Partner closely with R&D, operations, and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions
  • Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
  • Drive revenue growth against ambitious targets

What I'm Looking For

  • Proven “hunter” sales leader — not an account manager profile
  • Strong track record of winning new business in personal care contract manufacturing (essential)
  • Established network across beauty brands, retailers, or founders
  • Highly commercial, resilient, and results-driven
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth environment

Deep understanding of:

  • Formulation and product development processes
  • Manufacturing capabilities and limitations
  • Commercial models (MOQs, pricing, margins)
