Overview:
As the Performance Analyst at Al-Qadsiah Club, you will lead the design, delivery, and evolution of performance and tactical analysis services for the Women’s First Team. You will provide actionable insights that support coaching, recruitment, player development, and match performance while building a scalable analysis function aligned with the club’s long-term vision.
Key Responsibilities:
Match and Tactical Analysis
- Lead all pre-match, live, and post-match analysis processes for the Women’s First Team
- Deliver clear and actionable tactical insights to coaches and players
- Produce detailed opposition analysis, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and game strategies
- Support in-game decision-making through live analysis workflows and real-time feedback
- Ensure analysis outputs align with the club’s game model and tactical philosophy
Training and Performance Integration
- Design and deliver training analysis aligned to the club’s game model and principles
- Collaborate with coaching staff to measure, evaluate, and review tactical objectives
- Integrate tactical analysis with physical and medical data to provide holistic performance insights
- Support training design and player development through evidence-based feedback
Data and Insight Development
- Develop a data-informed approach to performance analysis using KPIs, dashboards, and performance trends
- Combine video and data analysis to enhance coaching and player decision-making
- Lead reporting on team and individual performance throughout the season
- Translate complex information into clear, practical recommendations for stakeholders
Department Leadership
- Build and lead the Women’s First Team analysis department, including staff, interns, and workflows
- Establish best practices, quality assurance processes, and operational standards
- Manage project timelines, scheduling, and resource allocation across the department
- Drive the long-term growth and development of the analysis function
Technology and Innovation
- Lead the selection and implementation of analysis software, platforms, and tools
- Ensure effective use of systems such as Hudl, Wyscout, StatsBomb, and Second Spectrum
- Drive innovation through automation, AI, and emerging analytical methodologies
- Continuously evaluate new technologies to enhance analysis delivery and impact
Recruitment and Talent Identification Support
- Support recruitment processes through video scouting and data-led talent identification
- Develop player profiling systems aligned with the club’s playing philosophy
- Contribute analytical insights to recruitment and squad planning discussions
Player and Staff Education
- Deliver engaging feedback sessions to players and staff
- Develop player understanding of tactical concepts and performance expectations
- Educate coaches and support staff on evolving analysis methodologies and best practice
- Promote a culture of learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
Collaboration
- Work closely with coaching, performance, medical, recruitment, operations, and IT staff
- Ensure analysis outputs support wider football objectives and strategic priorities
- Align all analysis activity with the club’s coaching methodology and football philosophy
Qualifications
Desirable:
- UEFA coaching qualification or equivalent
- Experience working within women’s football
- Experience building or leading an analysis department
- Knowledge of data science and coding languages such as Python or R
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Essential:
- Proven experience in performance analysis within professional football
- Strong understanding of tactical principles, football game models, and performance analysis methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in video and data analysis platforms
- Experience delivering performance insights within elite or high-performance sporting environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to simplify complex information for coaches, players, and stakeholders
- Collaborative and team-focused approach to working
- Proactive mindset with a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement
Desirable:
- Experience integrating GPS and tracking data with tactical analysis
