About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to shape a category-defining brand. Aerflo is creating the world's first portable sparkling water maker and defining the category. You’ll get to design it. As our Brand & Digital Designer, you’ll take bring our brand to life across every consumer touchpoint, evolving it as the brand grows.

You’ll help bring this brand to life: extending the brand foundations across every channel, evolving the visual language for Aerflo, defining the system for Aerflo for partnerships with well-known reusable water brands like Hydro Flask, and telling our sustainability story and impact in visually interesting ways.

The ideal candidate is part art director, part hands-on designer. You have an eye, you’ve worked on modern, premium brands, and you can both set creative direction and execute it yourself across email, social, and web. You're comfortable working with other creative designers and freelancers when needed. You’re fluent in leveraging AI where it makes sense to scale creative, while continuing to keep a human touch and meet brand standards.

You’ll report to the VP of Marketing and work closely with the Cofounders, Social & Community Lead, Performance Marketing and Email.

As our Brand & Digital Designer, you’ll:

Art Direction & Brand

• Own the look and feel of Aerflo across every channel, evolving it as the brand grows.
• Steward the core identity system: typography, color, iconography, illustration, and motion, captured in brand guidelines that keep us cohesive everywhere.
• Define the visual language for Aerflo for Systems, our partnerships with established reusable water brands.
• Art-direct photo and video shoots from brief to final selects, partnering with photographers and creators to build a distinctive library of product and lifestyle content.
• Translate our sustainability story into compelling visuals, less waste, cans saved, carbon footprint, that make people feel something.

Design Execution

• Design email from concept to send: lifecycle, promotional, and editorial, in partnership with the Email team.
• Create social assets for both organic and paid, statics and motion-ready graphics, that are native to each platform and built to perform.
• Produce website graphics and oversee site layout, partnering with developers and marketing to keep the experience on-brand and conversion-minded.
• Build and maintain templates, design systems, and brand guidelines that keep quality high and execution fast as we scale.
• Leverage AI tools where applicable to produce, iterate, and ship high-quality creative at volume, from concepting to variant generation for testing always maintaining a human eye.
• Stay ahead of emerging creative and AI tooling, and bring the best of it into how we work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in design, with a mix of art direction and hands-on graphic design.
• A portfolio that shows an exceptional eye and range across brand, email, social, and web. Show us the work.
• Experience designing for modern, premium brands; beverage/CPG is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to design for both organic and paid social, and to design email that converts.
• Experience producing website graphics and shaping site layout, in partnership with developers.
• Fluent in using AI tools to generate and scale creative output without losing quality or taste.
• Strong brand instincts: you can hold a cohesive visual identity across many surfaces and partners.
• Comfortable being scrappy when the budget and timeline are tight, and shipping fast.
• Genuinely excited about sustainability and reducing single-use waste.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, early-stage environments with ambiguity.
• High degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ownership.

This role is ideally based in NYC or Vienna, Austria, but we’re open to remote for the right person. NYC Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Compensation will be determined by experience and demonstrated impact. Includes performance bonus, 401(k), and full health benefits.

The anticipated US base salary for this role ranges from $80,000-95,000. Location will determine fine compensation range in addition to skills, qualifications, and experience.
