Holston Academy, a Stanza Education School is a virtual school designed to provide students with an education that is centered around them, from the learning experience to the flexibility of the schedule, to the courses they take. Students can enroll part-time to supplement their education, or full-time to pursue their interests and prepare for what’s ahead.

How You Will Make an Impact

Online Teacher will plan, organize, and deliver an individualized student learning experience in an online environment by utilizing the provided curriculum, instructional resources, data, and technology. The Online Teacher will support school-wide initiatives that improve teaching and learning for all stakeholders. This Position will collaborate with other instructional staff and school personnel to support the student’s academic plan. This position reports to the Head of School or the designee.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.
• Valid State Teaching Credential is preferred but not required.
• Teaching experience required; Experience teaching in an online learning environment is preferred.
• This is a remote position.
• Able to work in a rapidly growing and changing environment.
• Strong customer service focused approach with a commitment to student achievement.
• Intermediate level of skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other technology applications.
• Ability to travel in the performance of job duties.
