Job Purpose

The Senior Regional Brand Manager is responsible for achieving sales and gross profit targets for the assigned brands and territories in the Caribbean Region. The position will focus on Sell In and Sell Out acceleration through managing the partnership with distributors and retail customers and elevating the commercial execution.

The Senior Regional Brand Manager is responsible for developing and ensuring the execution of the commercial plan, the RTM strategy and setting the strategic direction and growth aspiration by brand and territory. This role will manage the relationship with our vendors and lead the commercial partnership with distributors and customers.

The Senior Regional Brand Manager is also responsible for the development of their team members, leveraging their expertise and leadership to motivate, coach and build a team capable of executing the business strategy and delivering objectives.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Business Results:

· Accountable for achieving the Gross Sales and Gross Profit Targets

· Accountable to rollout the execution of the strategy in each market / channel

Commercial Execution

· Translate the building blocks, opportunities and risks into a strategic roadmap to drive growth. Lead the rollout of the action plan to execute the strategy for each brand.

· Partner with the senior management of MD USA and the Vendor to coordinate the support and resources required to execute the commercial plan.

· Identify challenges and obstacles and provide solutions. Partners with cross functional teams from MD USA, our vendor and our customer to overcome the problem.

· Lead the execution of the commercial plan for each brand in every market.

· Ensure that brands comply with product mix by channel and merchandising guidelines.

· Ensure the execution of the price strategy.

· Monitor spending to ensure optimization and within approved budget.

Distributor / Customer Management

· Build and manage the relationship with distributors and retail customers.

· Lead the commercial planning process with distributors and customers. Win alignment on the business plan and target for the year.

· Responsible to lead the planning process of the brand activations that will support the revenue growth.

· Set follow up and monthly business review meetings to identify gaps and opportunities and define action items.

· Ensure monthly IMS and Stock report from distributors. Sellout data from retailers.

Data Analysis

· Measure and define actions to improve leading and lagging results vs. KPIs.

· Analyze sales data and distributors monthly reports (Sell In, IMS, Stock, Distribution, Store Sell Out, Price Audit, Price Trend, etc) to identify issues/opportunities, causes to recommend and implement solutions.

Partnership with Vendors

· Manage the commercial relationship with our vendors. Have a clear understanding of the objectives, expectations, building blocks, priorities, resources and strategies.

· Coordinate and lead monthly business reviews with each vendor. Provide direct solutions to potential setbacks and opportunities.

· Comply with reporting and forecast processes required by each vendor.

· Become familiar with ordering guidelines of principal so that a consistent supply of goods is achieved.

Sales Operation

· Responsible for managing customers’ orders. Comply with MDUSA processes.

· Minimize out of stock risk by maintaining aligned stock cover levels and compliance with ordering process and timelines.

· Partner with procurement to ensure accurate forecast based on sales projection.

Leadership:

· Provide guidance and coaching. Motivate and develop team to optimize performance outcomes, growth and engagement. Identify and provide necessary resources to overcome barriers to success and accomplish goals.

· Align and set clear expectations with the team. Track results. Ensure accountability.

· Lead and set a work environment aligned with the company’s values and code of conduct.

Qualifications

· Degree in Marketing, Business or related field,

· A minimum of 5 years' experience as Brand Manager or Sales related field.

· Experience in the FMCG industry.

· Experience managing distributors / customers

· Experience in International markets – Caribbean Region (preferable)

· Strong negotiation skills.

· Analytical.

· Vendor management experience.

· Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

· Willingness to travel 30%, US Visa
