Role Description
This is a contract, remote role for an Online English Language Art Teacher at Bilin Academy. The teacher's primary responsibilities would be delivering coursework to students in an online virtual classroom. We are in need of middle school/high school level writing tutor!
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field
- A State Teaching License is strongly preferred
- A minimum of 2 years of K-12 teaching experience
- Flexible availability in our peak time window: 5-7AM Eastern Time or weekend
- Proficiency in planning and delivering coursework on a virtual learning platform
- Demonstrated ability to implement interactive and engaging teaching methods in an online environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong commitment to student learning and success
- An understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity in the classroom
- Experience in creating learning materials and curriculum design is a plus
