Supply Chain Analyst (Returns):
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst (Returns) to support the efficient execution of product return operations across a complex service network. This individual will serve as a key point of coordination between internal teams and external partners, ensuring return requests are processed accurately and within established timelines. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates effectively across functions, and thrives in an environment that balances structured processes with evolving priorities and continuous improvement opportunities.
This role is a hybrid model in Portland, Oregon.
Supply Chain Analyst (Returns) Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end returns process, ensuring requests are completed accurately and within established service expectations.
- Own and maintain a shared returns inbox, responding to daily inquiries, processing requests, and coordinating resolution of return-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to facilitate timely processing and improve the overall customer experience.
- Review and update return allocations and other ad hoc requests while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Analyze returns activity to identify trends, support reporting efforts, and recommend process enhancements.
- Develop, update, and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures to support consistency and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in team huddles, one-on-one meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing operational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Support training efforts and provide guidance related to returns processes and best practices as needed.
Supply Chain Analyst (Returns) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, customer service, or a similar environment involving process coordination and issue resolution.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Demonstrated analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve routine operational issues.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a proactive approach to follow-through and accountability.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies, data analysis, reporting tools, or enterprise systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms or supply chain systems is preferred but not required.
- Ability to adapt to evolving processes and embrace a learning curve in a role that requires ongoing development and continuous learning.
