Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Lead to manage and drive quality assurance efforts for critical enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and leadership skills, extensive experience with testing frameworks, and a proven ability to manage global teams in delivering high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee QA efforts, managing a team of 20+ testers in a global delivery model, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across multiple time zones.
- Define, implement, and maintain QA best practices, test strategies, and frameworks, ensuring alignment with Agile and DevOps principles.
- Develop and execute automated test cases using the Selenium testing tool suite and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for Java- and .NET-based applications to ensure application reliability and scalability.
- Drive adoption of modern testing methodologies such as Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) to enhance test coverage and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with business requirements.
- Analyze and report productivity metrics and QA performance to management, identifying areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Design and execute test plans for mobile applications, ensuring functionality, performance, and user experience meet high standards.
- Stay updated on emerging QA technologies and tools, recommending innovative solutions to enhance testing processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in QA/testing, with a strong background in manual and automated testing for enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in the Selenium tool suite, including WebDriver, Grid, and IDE, with a deep understanding of automation frameworks.
- Working knowledge of Java and .NET technologies, with experience in testing applications built on these platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring large QA teams in a distributed environment.
- Expertise in implementing and working with BDD/TDD frameworks using tools like Cucumber, JBehave, or SpecFlow.
- Strong analytical skills to capture and report on QA metrics such as test coverage, defect density, and mean time to resolution (MTTR).
- Experience in mobile app testing across iOS and Android platforms, including functional, usability, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present QA insights to stakeholders.
