We're working with a well-backed NYC AI startup building autonomous agent platforms for enterprise customers.
They're looking for a Platform Engineer who can operate and debug Kubernetes in production today. Not just run workloads. Actually debug live clusters, read manifests, interpret diagnostics, and fix things under pressure.
What You'll Do:
- Own and operate the Kubernetes platform as the team migrates workloads onto it
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
- Write IaC with Terraform or OpenTofu
- Treat internal developers as customers and iterate on their experience
- Contribute to a developer portal and internal tooling over time
What You Need:
- Real, hands-on K8s production experience. You've debugged live incidents, not just deployed workloads
- 3-5 years in platform, cloud, infra, or a DevOps role
- Solid IaC and CI/CD fundamentals
- Strong communication. You can explain your thinking clearly and concisely
- Genuine curiosity for ambiguous problems.
