Technical operation and continuous improvement of endpoint services: Maintaining and continuously improving a secure, reliable, and user-friendly enterprise endpoint environment for Phoenix Contact employees.
Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365 endpoint management: Managing and optimizing Windows 10/11 and mobile device platforms using Microsoft Intune and related Microsoft 365 services to ensure standardization, compliance, and security.
Windows client lifecycle management: Maintaining and updating the standard Windows 10/11 client image and pre-provisioning process, including OS patching, Windows upgrades, legacy OS removal, and readiness for global deployment.
Security and compliance implementation: Managing, securing, and monitoring corporate endpoints, including laptops and mobile devices, and ensuring adherence to security baselines, compliance policies, data protection requirements, and endpoint protection standards.
Rollouts, migrations, and technical project contribution: Acting as technical lead or contributor for endpoint modernization initiatives, Windows OS migration, rollout activities, and broader workplace or IT infrastructure projects in collaboration with international IT teams.
System monitoring, error analysis, and reporting: Proactively monitoring systems, analysing disruptions and performance issues, initiating corrective actions, recommending optimizations, and preparing reports on performance, security posture, and endpoint usage trends.
Documentation, knowledge management, and guidance: Creating and maintaining technical documentation, operating manuals, and knowledge bases, while providing technical guidance and training to junior IT colleagues on Windows 11, Microsoft Intune, and modern endpoint management topics.
Our requiremets:
Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable discipline, or completed IT vocational training with relevant professional experience.
At least five years of relevant experience in endpoint management, workplace engineering, or a comparable enterprise IT role.
Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
In-depth knowledge of Windows client operating systems, including installation, configuration, lifecycle management, troubleshooting, OS patching, and upgrade processes in an enterprise environment.
Advanced expertise in Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365 endpoint services, endpoint security, and vulnerability management tools.
Strong understanding of Entra ID, Active Directory, identity and access integration, device compliance, and conditional access policies.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation to streamline administrative and operational tasks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.
Ability to identify and analyze business requirements, evaluate new technologies, and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
Experience in planning, clarifying, and implementing IT initiatives, including project contribution or technical project lead responsibilities when required.
Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to support, guide, and train IT colleagues in an international service organization.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and security-by-design practices.

Relevant certifications: ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Management, or comparable certifications.

Automation and reporting: Proven experience with automation, performance monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement of endpoint operations.
