Supply Chain Planning - Product Analyst

Role Summary

As part of the Supply Chain Planning (SCP) Product team, the role of the Product Analyst is to manage SCP application landscape, including design, build and support activities.

This includes supporting Supply Chain Planning Transformation and Digitalisation Program which aims to harmonise and simplify the supply chain planning process, data and technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnership with Global Business Process Owners to collect, track, help prioritizing requirements.
  • Closed collaboration with Integration SMEs, MDM SMEs and D&A SMEs to lead conversation on relative Product Backlog items.
  • Technology watch, including anticipation of system provider product roadmap and continuous stick to Standard approach.
  • Accountable to manage the Technical-Debt and TCO optimization.
  • Works with the solution architect in shaping, identifying the IT platforms, principles and design patterns, technical standards to be applied. You will support in architecting the solution and its integration by working closely with EA.
  • Drive POV, POC, MVP or new technology's introduction if needed.
  • Develop detailed technical solutions and architecture designs, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Advise senior IT platform and business stakeholders on Technology, Architecture, and integration strategies.
  • Lead technical teams in the implementation of architectural solutions; provide expertise and guidance on architectural best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Owner of Supply Chain Data Object, mastering data structure, data flows and transformation rules.
  • You coordinate and structure complex analytical requirements.
  • Functional build and test of system (configuration of properties, reports, calculations...) and its integrations in accordance with Enterprise Architecture guidelines; document them.
  • Be the design authority reference of your scope always keeping in mind data quality at the heart.
  • Help and support business data migration effort and data quality maintenance by automation when possible & definition/track of key indicators.
  • Identify and communicate potential risks and issues and develop mitigation plans to address them.

  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain Planning processes (forecasting, demand planning, supply planning, S&OP)
  • Prior experience with Planning systems would be appreciated – SAP APO, OMP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, O9 (Preferable)
  • Good understanding of business processes and data flows within supply chain planning
  • Good understanding of data models, master and transactional data concepts
  • Basic knowledge of data integration and data flow concepts

Good to Have

  • Understanding of Data Modelling, Master and Transaction Data, Datawarehouse domains
  • Good Understanding of SAP ERP data model and execution process
  • Mastering Enterprise Integration practices and/or hands-on experience with integration standards.
  • Experience in FMCG supply chain planning environments
  • Exposure to end-to-end planning processes (source-to-plan, demand-to-supply)

Experience & Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, computer science, information technology, business administration).
  • English fluent is a must
  • Proven experience (>7+ years) as a Product Analyst in FMCG
