Fleur du Mal Stylist (Full-Time & Part-Time) // New York Boutiques
Fashion retail experience required. Luxury, designer, or intimate apparel experience strongly preferred.
Fleur du Mal is seeking passionate and driven Stylists to join our New York boutique teams. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional client experiences while contributing to the continued growth and success of one of luxury fashion's most distinctive brands.
Fleur du Mal is a luxury lingerie and ready-to-wear brand founded in 2012 that celebrates women who exude power while embracing their femininity and sensuality. The brand is distributed globally through fleurdumal.com, Fleur du Mal boutiques, and top luxury retailers.
As a Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional styling experiences, building meaningful client relationships, and contributing to boutique success through strong sales performance and thoughtful clienteling.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail experience, preferably within luxury fashion, designer brands, lingerie, or intimate apparel.
- Passion for styling, fashion, and creating elevated client experiences.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect authentically with clients.
- Proven ability to drive sales through personalized service and product knowledge.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a boutique team.
- Comfortable using POS systems and clienteling/outreach tools.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods.
Client Experience & Styling
- Deliver a personalized and memorable styling experience for every client, offering expert product knowledge and fit guidance.
- Build lasting relationships with clients through clienteling, outreach, and follow-up communication.
- Maintain deep knowledge of Fleur du Mal collections, including lingerie, ready-to-wear, swim, and seasonal launches.
- Meet and exceed individual sales goals, including units per transaction, styling opportunities, and client outreach initiatives.
- Create an inviting and empowering environment where clients feel confident, comfortable, and inspired.
- Collaborate with the boutique team to maintain a warm, engaging, and elevated store atmosphere.
Boutique Operations
- Support daily boutique operations, including POS transactions, inventory management, and operational procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, stock organization, and maintaining accurate inventory.
- Maintain productivity during downtime through client outreach, merchandising support, and boutique upkeep.
- Uphold brand standards across all operational and client-facing interactions.
Event Opportunities
- Support boutique operations both in-store and through external brand activations, including pop-ups, trunk shows, special events, and community partnerships.
- Represent the Fleur du Mal brand with professionalism and elevated service across all client touchpoints and event experiences.
- Collaborate with the boutique team to ensure seamless execution of events, styling appointments, and client engagement initiatives.
- Assist with event preparation, merchandising, inventory coordination, and client outreach efforts to maximize event success.
- Create memorable brand experiences that strengthen client relationships and support boutique sales and brand growth.
Visual Merchandising & Boutique Presentation
- Maintain the boutique as a beautiful, luxurious retail environment that reflects the sensual and sophisticated Fleur du Mal aesthetic.
- Assist with merchandising updates, floor set changes, and seasonal product launches.
- Ensure exceptional front-of-house presentation and stockroom organization at all times.
- Support visual standards and merchandising initiatives that drive client engagement and sales performance.
