Hourly Rate: $18 -$20/hour

Job Description:

The IT intern will provide onsite IT support to our internal staff for2 days a week. They will act as the primary face-to-face contact for our global service desk, ensuring all incidents and requests are logged and triaged correctly. Additionally, the IT Intern will assist in deploying and maintaining IT hardware and software onsite, and support asset management for our service desk.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for logging and capturing all information in the Service Desk for all IT incidents & requests raised via email, telephone, chat or walk-up for the respective site.
• Respond to tickets raised by the Service Desk within SLA.
• Undertake triage of Service Desk tickets prior to escalation to other teams including 1st line troubleshooting and investigation.
• Support our global service desk by acting as remote hands for support to Desktop PC’s, Printers, Telephony systems & physical network assets.
• Responsible for the logging, distributing & shipping of all IT assets for the respective site.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office & Windows Operating Systems.
• Ability to demonstrate a logical approach to troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently with a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Passionate about delivering good customer service.
• Enthusiastic with a ‘can-do’ attitude.

Qualifications:

• Currently studying IT or prior IT support experience
