As an Influencer Specialist at Guide Dogs, you’ll find new and creative ways to promote and share the charity’s work by leveraging the power of influencer partnerships. You’ll develop and deliver engaging, insight-led strategies, build meaningful relationships with influencers and content creators, and create compelling content that drives awareness, engagement and reach across social media platforms, building on existing successes and exploring new opportunities.

The Influencer Specialist will be an expert in influencer marketing, including partnership development, content creation, campaign delivery, performance analysis and using data and insights to optimise impact and engagement. Our Influencer Specialist plays a huge part in ensuring everything we do enables us to deliver on our purpose and exceed expectations.

This role can be based at any of our Guide Dog offices. You’ll be working 35 hours per week, worked 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Celebrity and Influencer Lead [CIL] to execute a comprehensive influencer engagement strategy aligned with brand goals and Guide Dogs mission and values which will support the charity’s strategic objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate potential influencers for Guide Dogs to partner with.
  • Develop authentic content strategies & campaign ideas, with tailored pitches and proposals to secure collaborations with influencers across various platforms [Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.]
  • Build and maintain strong relationships influencers, their agents, and managers.
  • Support CIL with negotiating contracts and agreements for partnerships and collaborations.
  • Ensure close working with wider comms team, digital, brand and product teams to ensure seamless campaign integration.
  • Track and analyse the performance influencer partnerships to support the charity’s strategic objectives.

You’ll have a creative and insight-led approach to influencer marketing and content creation. You’ll enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a dedicated focus on building meaningful partnerships and delivering engaging, high-impact campaigns, whilst being committed to driving awareness, maximising reach and achieving measurable results for the charity’s mission. You’ll act with integrity and honesty in everything you do.

Skills and Competencies

  • Relevant experience within agency and/or large brand and/or currently an active influencer
  • Proven experience in influencer marketing and social media management.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, especially Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X
  • Demonstrable experience in managing influencer campaigns from concept to completion.
  • Network and relationships with talent agents, publicists, influencers, and celebrity managers.
