Logistics Coordinator

“Bournas Medicals”, a leading company in production and trade of certified medical disposable products and health supplies, due to the increasing demands is interested in staffing its dynamic team with a new member for the position: Logistics Coordinator Manager

Job Description

As a logistics coordinator, you will manage external stakeholders such as logistics and cargo companies and you will work closely with various departments (Purchasing, Exports, Warehouse), to plan effectively and efficiently the transports of our goods from and to various countries worldwide.

The position refers to Purchasing Director.

§ Implementation and management of Logistics (imports and exports)

§ Maintain and update the shipment schedule

§ Delivery of orders for picking and packaging in the warehouse

§ Organization and coordination of work of Logistics services (proformas, receipts, orders, distribution, returns etc.)

§ Handling necessary paperwork and bureaucracy issues (eg customs, commercial chambers, CMR documents, packing lists etc)

§ Monitoring delivery times, transport costs and efficiency

§ Coordinate properly all parts and resolve problems that may cause delays or discrepancies

§ Request for quotations from transport companies to achieve the best possible price rates and delivery times.

§ Delegate in a way that will ensure that the transport companies meet our standards and our demands.

§ Achieve cost, productivity, accuracy and timeline targets

§ Provide all the necessary info to our exports department for the best client service of our clients

§ On the spot presence during the loading and unloading of goods for ensuring the integrity, the proper handling and the exchange of the necessary paperwork.

Necessary qualifications:

• Degree or experience with Logistics and Supply Chain
• Proven experience of at least 2-3 years in a logistics company or a in well-structured imports / exports department
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Highly literate in Greek and English
• Literate in logistics terminology
• Excellent use of PC and MS Office
• Fluent using CRM / ERP software
• Ability to negotiate effectively
• Ability to manage time effectively and organize workflow
