Role: People Analytics and Process Lead, Asia Pacific

The People Analytics and Process Lead, APAC will sit within the People team and be responsible for driving people insights and analytics agenda and People/ HR process improvement and standardisation on SAP SuccessFactors and local people systems across Asia Pacific, leveraging tools including PowerBI and M365 Co-pilot to improve People team efficiency, decision-making and consistency across APAC markets.

A key part of the role is translating complex business and operational requirements into clear people insights, reporting frameworks and standardised people processes. This includes deep consideration of the realities of SSP’s F&B operations, such as high‑volume and seasonal hiring, shift‑based and multi‑site workforces, attendance‑driven data, and payroll‑critical people information.

The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of SAP SuccessFactors from a process and usage perspective and be able to support ongoing enhancements through clear business requirements and insight‑led prioritisation.

Main Responsibilities:

People Insights & Analytics

  • Derive and execute APAC plan on workforce insights, analytics and data-driven storytelling, enabling senior leaders and People teams to make better decisions.
  • Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for APAC leadership and market People teams (strategic and operational insight views)
  • Define and own APAC people metrics, definitions and reporting standards, ensuring consistency across markets and alignment with Group People and enterprise data models.
  • Partner with APAC Digital & Technology, Group People Analytics to integrate APAC people datasets into broader organisational data models.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance reporting and analytics capability in SAP SuccessFactors, working with D&T to technically enable solutions.
  • Own APAC people data structures, definitions and standards to support analytics, reporting and integrations and define how people data should be used, interpreted and reported at regional level.
  • Manage stakeholders across regional and country teams to ensure timely decisions, issue resolution, and successful adoption.

People Process Digitalisation and Enhancement

  • Design and implement solutions on digitalisation and enhancement of People processes, with a strong focus on improving efficiency, consistency and user experience for both People teams and the business.
  • Proactively engage with Business, APAC and Market People teams to understand end‑to‑end people process pain points, inefficiencies and evolving needs, particularly within the context of SSP’s high‑volume, shift‑based, multi‑site F&B operations.
  • Identify and prioritise opportunities to digitalise, simplify and automate existing People processes, reducing manual work, duplication and workarounds across APAC markets.
  • Leverage SAP SuccessFactors and Huris as the primary regional platforms to drive process standardisation where appropriate, enable consistent data capture and improve visibility, self‑service and reporting capability.
  • Own people process design and requirements for SAP SuccessFactors for Recruitment & Onboarding (R&O) and Employee Central (EC) modules, provide advise on the same on other affiliated modules.
  • Work in close partnership with Digital & Technology to translate business and user needs into clear people process and digital requirements, supporting ongoing system enhancements and releases.
  • Act as the owner of standard people process flows, guidance and ways of working on SAP SuccessFactors, ensuring markets are supported to adopt digital and standardised processes sustainably.
  • Provide advice on local Workforce Management & Payroll Systems by reviewing alignment to internal HR process principles and best practice and assessing upstream impact on SuccessFactors processes, data and integrations

Person Specification

  • Experience in people analytics, HR reporting, or workforce insights, ideally across APAC.
  • Strong hands-on skills in building dashboards and translating data into business insights.
  • Working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central, Recruitment & Onboarding).
  • Experience in complex, high-volume environments (e.g. F&B, retail, hospitality).
  • Proven ability to partner with Digital/Tech teams on system and reporting enhancements.
  • Skilled in defining and standardising metrics, data structures and reporting.
  • Exposure to digital tools, AI and M365 Copilot preferred.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end People processes and process optimisation.
  • Able to turn business needs into clear process and reporting requirements.
  • Experience creating process documentation and driving consistent adoption.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Collaborative, improvement-focused and pragmatic in approach.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, with high standards for data integrity.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and shaping new solutions.
  • Excellent English; additional Asian language a plus.
