Role: Lounge Manager (Don Mueang International Airport (DMK)
Role Summary:
- Overall responsibility to ensure that the Lounge Operations is in order effectively, including all aspects of service, monitoring operations procedures, manage team members, monitor guest satisfactions
- To be responsible for the total management of the restaurant business in order to achieve and maintain high standards of Quality, Service and Cleanliness.
- To ensure the effective training and development of all staff and management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee operations to ensure efficiency and smooth day-to-day performance
- Ensure compliance with established systems, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Manage budgets and monitor cost control to support financial sustainability
- Perform monthly analysis of profit & loss statements and operational costing
- Lead onboarding, orientation, and training of new team members
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to foster a high-performing team
- Maintain high standards of reporting and ensure timely communication of critical information
- Monitor staff professionalism, including appearance, conduct, and work attitude, while promoting a strong team culture
- Ensure timely preparation of management reports and oversee administrative processes
- Support recruitment efforts and staff development initiatives
- Manage workforce planning, including scheduling and manpower allocation
- Review and recommend overtime and leave arrangements
- Analyze overall operational performance and identify key areas for continuous improvement
- Implement operational procedures in alignment with management directives
- Ensure operations are conducted efficiently and cost-effectively
- Oversee event processes from planning through to completion
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop, maintain, and improve quality management systems
- Proactively identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management
Person Specification:
- Post-secondary qualifications or above, with hospitalities knowledge is preferable;
- 7 to10 years’ relevant experience in Lounge / Hotel / Food and Beverage management and operations;
- Fluent in both Thai and English (spoken and written)
- Excellent client relationship management;
- Management of a team, proven leadership skills;
- Excellent communication skills both upwards and downwards, internally and externally
