Position Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, performance management, and policy implementation. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer day-to-day human resources operations and employee support
- Coordinate recruitment activities, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Assist with employee relations matters by responding to employee inquiries and supporting conflict resolution efforts
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy within HR systems
- Assist with performance management processes, employee development initiatives, and training programs
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Support payroll processing and maintain personnel documentation as needed
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review
- Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the HR department
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3–5 years of human resources experience
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar certification is a plus
