Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Pharmacist, located in Kitimat, British Columbia, Canada. The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for providing medication therapy management, offering professional advice to patients, and ensuring the safe preparation and dispensation of prescriptions. Other responsibilities include maintaining accurate patient records, collaborating with healthcare providers, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards. A strong emphasis will also be placed on patient education and promoting health and wellness in the community.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Medication Therapy Management, Prescription Evaluation, and accurate Dispensation of medications
• Strong Customer Service, Patient Communication, and Educational Skills
• Knowledge and compliance with Pharmacy Regulations and Standards
• Attention to Detail and a Commitment to Accuracy when preparing and managing medications
• Ability to collaborate with healthcare teams and prioritize patients’ health outcomes
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and current licensure as a Pharmacist in British Columbia
• Experience in retail pharmacy settings is an asset
• Proficiency with pharmacy-related software systems is a plus
