Position Summary
The Front Door Attendant serves as the first point of contact for residents, guests, and vendors at The Paris a luxury building on the Upper West Side. This role is responsible for maintaining a welcoming, secure, and professional lobby environment while providing high-quality customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations at the building entrance.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet residents, guests, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Monitor and control access to the building, ensuring only authorized individuals enter
- Manage package deliveries, including receiving, logging, and organizing for resident pickup
- Assist residents with general inquiries, directions, and basic requests
- Coordinate with building management and staff regarding visitor access, deliveries, and service requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby and front desk area
- Observe and report any suspicious activity, safety concerns, or maintenance issues
- Assist with opening doors, handling luggage, and providing general assistance as needed
- Enforce building policies and procedures in a polite and professional manner
Qualifications
- Prior experience in residential, hospitality, or customer service roles preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to remain attentive, reliable, and responsive during shifts
- Basic organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with light physical tasks (e.g., packages)
