The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Digital Services Division is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Analyst I to support enterprise digital transformation initiatives. This entry-level position plays a key role in the modernization of DMV services by contributing to data analytics, process improvement efforts, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)-related projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support digital transformation projects across DMV programs and services.
  • Analyze operational and customer service data to identify trends, opportunities, and performance improvements.
  • Assist in developing and documenting business processes, workflows, and process improvement recommendations.
  • Contribute to AI-related initiatives through research, data analysis, testing, and project coordination activities.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and other analytical deliverables for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project implementation and organizational change efforts.
  • Monitor and evaluate digital service performance metrics and customer experience outcomes.
  • Assist in gathering business requirements and documenting project needs.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance efficiency, accessibility, and customer satisfaction.
