At Vorwerk North America, we are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations and support our growing business in an international environment.

This role is critical in ensuring financial accuracy, strengthening internal controls, and driving continuous improvement across systems and processes.

Your Mission

As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee accounting activities, ensure compliance, and act as a key partner to both local and global stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

Financial Close & Compliance

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP / IFRS and internal policies
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting

SAP & Process Optimization

• Act as a key expert for SAP (FI/CO modules)
• Drive automation, process improvements, and system enhancements
• Support implementations, upgrades, and integrations

Internal Controls & Audit

• Maintain and strengthen internal controls (SOX environment)
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Ensure adherence to governance and compliance standards

International Operations

• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment of processes
• Support operations across multiple markets

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and develop a team of 2 accountant professionals
• Partner with Finance, FP&A, Tax, IT, and business stakeholders

Know-how & Competencies

Technical Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including team management
• Strong expertise in SAP (FI/CO required)
• Experience in a multinational environment
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS
